CryptoStrapon is a free, independent crypto fraud research desk. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted.
What we collect
Aggregated, anonymised analytics (page views, country, device class) and — only if you submit them — the text you paste into the scam detector, quiz answers, tip-line messages and newsletter email addresses. We never ask for wallet private keys, seed phrases or identity documents.
Cookies and consent
Analytics and advertising storage stay denied until you consent (Google Consent Mode v2). You can change or withdraw consent at any time from the cookie preferences page. Strictly necessary storage keeps the site working and cannot be switched off.
Scan inputs and reports
Detector inputs are redacted before storage: wallet addresses, handles and contact details are masked. Shareable scan reports contain only the redacted input plus the verdict, and indexing of individual report pages is gated.
Your rights and contact
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and you can unsubscribe from every email with one click. Write to cryptostrapon@proton.me and we answer from the same address that signs our editorial policy.
